About Us
East Baton Rouge Head Start Program provides children with education, leadership, and advocacy. The program promotes school readiness for children from age three to age five with a pre-school curriculum that assists them in enhancing their cognitive, language, literacy, social, and emotional development. Head Start emphasizes the role of parents as their child’s first and most important teacher. This program also helps build relationships within families that support the family’s well-being.
