How Can I Get My Child Screened For Early Childhood Disabilities?
Children with disabilities and their families receive the full range of services from all Head Start participants. Children suspected of having a disabling condition or a child with a disability are provided services, including:
- Screening for possible intervention and development and implementation of an individual education plan (IEP) that meets the child’s specific needs.
- Head Start staff work closely with the local school system and community agencies to provide services that meet the unique needs of children with disabilities.
- Children enrolled in Head Start will be referred to our LEA, EBR pupil appraisal, for screenings and services.

Where Can I Request A Car Seat Or Request A Car Seat Adjustment?
Where Can I Get A Speech And Hearing Screening For My Child 5 Years Old And Under At No Cost?
All enrolled Head Start students will receive speech and hearing screenings. Those needing further services will be referred to community partners.
